Single digit wind chills this morning will be an indication that Delmarva is in for an uncomfortably cold Tuesday. High temperatures will struggle to reach 32 degrees today before tumbling again into the teens tonight.

Wednesday will rebound toward more seasonable readings as our sunny skies will come with temps near 44 degrees.

A brief warm up into the mid 50’s is in store for Thursday under partly cloudy skies.

Our area is still potentially facing an impactful winter weather event this weekend. It is too early to list specific details, but residents should be prepared for what may well be the nastiest winter weather of the year. There is the potential for considerable snow accumulation to cause widespread travel disruptions.

Models, as of this morning, are coming into agreement on a significant storm that may potentially become severe throughout the weekend, and perhaps into early Monday.
