Salisbury, MD Live Weather

Rain continues on Delmarva as a cold front begins to push through from the west.  Snow showers are still a good possibility for the morning hours tomorrow.

Rain early in the day should gradually taper to showers.  There could be some overnight drizzle. A cold front enters the region ushering in windy weather with snow showers tomorrow morning….nothing to get excited about!  I expect at most a dusting of snow.

A steady rain is falling this morning as evidenced by the current view through our WeatherCam.  Expect the rain to continue all day and into Monday.  Tuesday will offer a rain/snow mix becoming all snow before it ends.  Don’t get excited!.

Prepare for a Sunday soaking of rain.  Showers on Monday will slowly taper off as a cold front approaches from the west.  Midday Tuesday is likely to offer a rain/snow mix that will transition to a period of light snow in the afternoon.  Currently, weather models suggest not to get excited about a substantial snowfall. …

I’ve been a weather nerd all of my life, and all of my life has been spent in Salisbury, Maryland.  That doesn’t make me an expert but it does give me some insight into historical weather patterns on the Delmarva Peninsula.
