Sep 30/Wet And Warm September Ends

On this last day of September we will enjoy especially nice weather.  That is a nice way to end a month that is averaging nearly 7 degrees above normal with rainfall having reached nearly 8 inches.  Today’s dry weather could possibly extend to a streak of 10 days or more.

Sep 29/Wakin’ Up In The 50’s

Waking up to temperatures in the 50’s this morning reminds us that fall is finely here.  It looks as though we are about to experience an extended period of dry weather with nice warm days and cool nights.  So, “Wake Up Little Susy” and enjoy the day.  That’s what the Everly Brothers told us to […]

Sep 24/Begin Workweek With Wary Eyes

Some tropical moisture left over from Hurricane Florence is spinning offshore, just south of Bermuda.  It is worth keeping an eye on, as it could slowly move close to our shores and extend the showery weather into midweek.  I’d say there is a 50-50 chance.  Scattered showers will stick around for today.

Sep 23/Falling Temps & Rainfall For Fall’s First Full Day

Today is a good day to stay indoors as high temperatures may not escape the upper 60’s under rainy skies.  In fact, we may see rainfall become rather heavy at times with off/on showers through Monday.  Some of the weather models are indicating that parts of Delmarva could see well over more than an inch […]
