Morning rain will subside, ending with early afternoon showers, as temperatures fall to about 70 degrees today. These will be the first rain drops of October after a full week.

A cold night with temps dropping into the upper 40’s will lead to a much cooler day on Thursday under partly sunny skies. Highs will only reach the mid 60’s.

Daytime highs are likely to remain in the mid 60’s into the weekend when the possibility exists of a developing nor’easter off the coast.
