February arrives today with a bit of a wintry tease. A mix of drizzle and light snow should amount to nothing more than a nuisance unless you are traveling to the north of Salisbury. Colder air may drift a bit to the south through early morning.

Once the early morning precip clears out the first day of the month should bring partly sunny skies with a high near 40 degrees. Tonight will see temperatures drop into the low 20’s, likely making it the coldest night of the young year.
Thursday is expected to be a cloudy day with a high near 43 degrees.
Temps will slowly continue their downward trend throughout the week and by Friday things will feel like February. Friday temps should register in the mid 30’s while Saturday may not rise above freezing.
