I hate choices. The brain or the gut, the gut or the brain, the brain or the gut….hmmm, I’ll take the brain for $1000, Alex!
Speaking of Alex, let’s hope that Parkside High School graduate Alex Azar, Secretary of Health and Human Services, can convince the President of the United States to trust our medical professionals. There are countless thousands of medical personnel who are laying their lives on the line for the health needs of all Americans. They are working long hours at the risk of their own personal health to serve. Heck, I bet some of them are even working with bone spurs! Thank you, thank you, and thank you! You are truly American heroes.
If there was ever a week, during the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, to be vigilant, this is the one. While there is something to be said for intuition, in general, in this particular case I will listen to the good doctor!
If you choose to listen to your gut, I hope it matches the good doctor’s brain.
There is no choosing when it comes to the weather. The weather chooses you, you don’t choose the weather. You can dress for the weather or maybe choose to protect yourself with an umbrella or raincoat on a stormy day, but you can’t choose the weather.
Its like the coronavirus. It chooses the timeline. We don’t!
What is the weather choosing for us today? Well, my gut feeling, pun intended, is that clouds will increase during the day with a high temperature topping out near 72 degrees. There is a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms overnight into the morning.

Tomorrow will be even warmer as we near 80 degrees. Let’s continue to flatten the curve…and, if you don’t buy into the science, you can do what I’ll be doing with the few extra pounds that I’ve gained during our down time…flattening the gut!
