First freeze likely by Tuesday morning

Today will feel shockingly cold in the Salisbury area as the weather pattern in early November ushers in its first blast of Arctic air. It will be breezy with temperatures lucky to reach 50 degrees today under mostly sunny skies.

A Freeze Watch has been issued as temps will likely drop down to the upper 20s to lower 30s Monday night into Tuesday behind a strong cold front tonight. Tuesday’s weather will be even colder when the sunshine will be accompanied by a high temp of about 47 degrees.

The cold air may prompt many in the northeast to begin planning trips to Florida, but the cold air will be plunging into the Sunshine State as well. Good luck with getting a flight.

Of course, the MAGA pundits are already predicting that all of the rich will flee New York City anyway as a result of last week’s midterm elections where the city’s Mayor-Elect Mamdani has proposed increasing taxes on the rich.
