Accuweather Forecast
As evidenced by the broadly stroked snow forecast graphic above the Delmarva Peninsula appears to be in the bullseye for the first winter storm of 2022.
Statement from the NWS in Wakefield, VA
Drivers should exercise caution Monday morning. Most accumulation is expected to be on grassy or non-
paved surfaces. However, given that the timing of the changeover to snow and heavy snowfall rates overlaps with the morning commute, impacts are expected from either the visibility reduction associated with heavy snowfall rates, or a combination of visibility reduction and slick, slushy roads. This event continues to evolve with changes in the forecast likely as we get closer to the event and confidence increases.

By all appearances it seems certain, since all models agree, that Delmarva will pick up its first legitimate snowstorm of the winter season. They disagree on the amounts. I personally tend to lean towards the lower projections.

Again, I will provide an evening update if conditions warrant.
