When White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stood in front of the media this past week and indicated that Donald Trump just “had a feeling” that this was the time to join forces with Israel to attack Iran some people began to question the wisdom of the President. Millions of people lose tons of money every week by buying a lottery ticket for the same reason. We tend to take chances with the outcome.

Perhaps the nihilistic president is amused or even entertained by wielding his massive powers on the international stage. One can imagine him doing his best Jennifer Beales/Irene Cara imitations girating and crooning “what a feelin’!” to his scores of sycophants as Epic Fury soars onward. Not everyone is entertained.

As we on Delmarva head into a three day period with early spring warmth there are already American casualties as a result of Trump’s dalliance that has yet to be justified to the American people. It is indeed a poor reflection on POTUS that he chose to wear a baseball cap to the dignified transfer of the fallen service members in Dover. Perhaps he wasnt’t feelin’ it.

And what took so long in “feelin” the Kristi Noem firing? Everyone else in America felt it for months.

We deserve that justification and some sort of an idea of what to expect more than we deserve the 70 plus degree temperatures that we will experience through Wednesday of this week.

Those temperatures are likely to fall drastically in about a week, however gas prices will not likely drop with them. Here’s wondering if Trump feels differently.
