So, if this is the worst, what is the second, or the third?

Needless to say, there are others, and Scott’s choice of words reflects that. Do you not wonder what they are and why Scott would choose to ignore them?

This observer believes it to be a travesty that out of the 535 elected Senators and Representatives in Washington, that there is only one who has the gumption to threaten the billionaire elite by naming names in the Epstein travesty. It appears as though many of the remaining 534 may want to protect someone. A rich donor, perhaps?

This week in DC Ghislaine Maxwell will testify before the House Select Coommittee. Will she name names? Or, will she plead the fifth?

Former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have been subpoenaed to appear as well. Clinton, as should all those named in the Epstein Files, do so. The Americsn people, however, would prefer to witness a public testimony rather than a closed door session desired by Rep. James Comer, who seems hell bent on controlling the narrative.

The belief here is that Donald Trump may be shaking in his shoes regarding the possibility that Clinton may implicate others. Even if he does not, this sets the precedent of charging a former president with a crime. You know who will be a former president soon, do you not? Start composing your questions.

It is possible that questioning of Trump could begin much sooner if, after the Democrats presumably win back the House of Representatives in November, someone introduces articles of impeachment.

The latest fly in the ointment for our felon president is that courts in Europe are beginning their own investigations into the Epstein Files. If he is indicted there is absolutely nothing that Pam Bondi and the Department of Justice can do to intervene.

Speaking of Pam Bondi, she is expected to testify before the House after Maxwell and the Clinton’s. She has time to be told by you know who, what to say. Or not say.

Lost in all of this is that the 60th Super Bowl, dubbed the Benito Bowl in honor of entertainer Bad Bunny, was played in Santa Clara. Congratulations to the Seattle Seahawks, who defeated the New England Patriots, by the score of 29 to 13, in a game that was televised to hundreds of millions around the world.

Commercials are always a hit during the Super Bowl. Perhaps none resonated with women all over the world as much as this one.

Give Vice President Vance credit for smiling through the chorus of boos he received at the Winter Olympics in Milan.

Vance’s boss, who adores the spotlight, chose not to attend the Super Bowl. We all know why!

If the weekend news didn’t give you the chills, walking outside this morning will. Wind chill readings are near zero with air temperatures hovering around 13 degrees. They are expected to rise to about 34 degrees today.

Tuesday, when we top 45 degrees, will be modestly warmer.
