One long standing New Years tradition includes eating black eyed peas to bring good luck. Our family enjoyed Black Eyed Peas and Pasta yesterday. Simple, yummy, filling, and cheap it was.

Eating the black eyed peas is not likely to change our weather. Salisbury is expecting a few more cold days before the year’s first warm up occurs next week.

Temperatures today should reach about 39 degrees under partly cloudy skies.

Temps on Saturday will reach the same level, although cloudy skies arrive due to an approaching storm from the south that we are likely to miss. If it inches a bit more to the north we could possibly see a sprinkle or a flurry.
