A nor’esaster resembling a winter-like pattern, has been nearly stationary to our north for the past few days. On the south side of the system Delmarva has escaped the nasty late spring rains and cold temps, but we have been set up for cooler than normal temperatures for the Memorial Day weekend.
Mostly sunny skies will prevail today and tomorrow, but high temperatures will just nudge into the low 70’s in most areas. While not perfect beach weather for visitors to Delmarva, the weather is certainly conducive to other outdoor activities.
Memorial Day itself is expected to be mostly cloudy with a high near 73 degrees.
The clouds are expected to linger and provide some midweek rain with temps remaining in the low 70’s.
