
The Atlantic basin is quiet to begin the 2024 hurricane season. The Saharan sands blowing from east to west are mapping out the expected path this summer of many of our expected tropical systems.

It is simply a matter of time before the sand is displaced by a tropical low pressure system that will be primed to develop.
Despite the lack of tropical activity the week ahead will offer a few opportunities for showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures are expected to reach near 80 degrees on a daily basis throughout the week ahead.
