The general consensus is that a strong low pressure system with tropical characteristics that is inundating Florida with multiple inches of rain will work its way up the east coast over the next couple of days resulting in a Sunday to Monday washout on Delmarva.
Today and Saturday should be relatively pleasant with mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the mid to upper 50’s.
Even warmer air, perhaps reaching 60 degrees will enter the area on Sunday. It will be accompanied by rainfall, perhaps heavy at times, all day Sunday and into Monday morning. Rainfall measurements, much like last weekend, are likely to range from 1 to 3 inches.
