Today will be a lovely August day with sunshine, low humidity, and temperatures near 82 degrees.
Sunday will likely be just as nice with perhaps a few scattered fair weather clouds.
By all accounts it appears as though the weather, for at least this next week, will feature temperatures that are cooler than average. Thanks go to a wedge of high pressure that is locked into our area. It is illlustrated in blue in the above image.
This high pressure system with its northerly winds will also be giving us very pleasant overnight low temperatures. Most of us will drop to around 60 degrees but some locations could even dip into the upper 50’s.
