The bitter cold acts in a cold, cold world are in full view this weekend as the Russian invasion of a sovereign Ukraine takes center stage. Yet, the weather still matters.

Here at home a moderating trend in temperatures begins today as highs reach the low to mid 50’s. The days ahead offer mostly sunny skies and widely dry conditions.

The weather in Ukraine for the upcoming week gives embattled residents something else with which to contend as on/off snowfall is expected with temperatures in the 30’s. Does the weather favor one side over the other?
