Six years ago today Venus Williams and Roger Federer were crowned Wimbledon champions in Great Britain. Michael Phelps was working towards winning another of his gold medals at the Olympics and civil unrest and warfare continued in Syria. Meanwhile, back on Delmarva, we were sweating profusely as the mercury reached 101 degrees.
What a difference six years makes. Today will likely be the most beautiful day of the summer in Salisbury. Take a look at temperatures in the Salisbury area as of 5 o’clock this morning.
The cool start to the day is to be followed by abundant sunshine and low humidity.
