We’ll walk away from May today.

walk mayWe’ll get a bit of a reprieve from the really hot weather that we’ve experienced for the past couple of days. May comes to an end today with mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the mid 80’s.

I think that the Salisbury area will be storm free today, so get out and take a walk and get some beneficial exercise under nice skies.  Remember, however, that texting while walking can be dangerous, especially when crossing streets in heavy traffic.  The safest walk would be on an enclosed track!  Let’s live to enjoy another beautiful day on Delmarva tomorrow.

Wetter than normal conditions have also occurred in May for the second month in a row.  Salisbury has recorded a total of 3.34 inches of rain above normal for the year to date.

Ok.  I’m going for a walk.  I’ll be back in June!
