The Philadelphia Phillies are going to the World Series after star outfieder Bryce Harper hit a two run oppositie field home run, in the rain, in the bottom of the eighth inning against the San Diego Padres last night. He outmuscled the miserable weather.

Philadelphia fans are flying high as the NFL Eagles have the best record in the entire league. Good for Philly!
Meanwhile, the New York Yankees are going home for the winter as the Houston Astros prepare to meet the Phillies in the Fall Classic.
After some morning showers temperatures today will reach the mid 60’s under cloudy skies.
As the week wears on we run the risk of getting spoiled by rather nice conditions as daytime high temperatures will reach the low to mid 70’s each day through Thursday.
By the time Friday arrives a bit of a cooldown will return as temps retreat into the low to mid 60’s.
