Today represents the last of three full days of summer before autumn arrives Thursday evening at 9:03 PM. Temps today, tomorrow, and Wednesday are expected to be in the mid to upper 80’s under sunny skies.

Currently it looks like Thursday could bring some showers as high temps dip into the low 80’s. At this time Fiona appears to pose no direct threat to the US.

Friday, autumn’s first full day, should see temps drop considerably into the low 70’s. This push of cooler air into the mid-Atlantic should help keep Fiona at bay.
