Tropical Storm Elsa has departed the area after passing directly over the Salisbury area overnight. It left behind varying amounts of rainfall. The sbywx.blog weather station recorded a storm total of 1.76 inches of rain while the Willards, Powellville, and Ocean City area was under a tornado warning early this morning.

Today is expected to be partly cloudy with the redevelopment of scattered thunderstorms late today and tonight. The high temperature should reach the upper 80’s.
Saturday brings the return of mostly sunny skies and a high temp near 86 degrees.
