It is difficult to argue that most of us are enjoying the warm autumn weather of the past few days. Things are, however, unusually dry.
Since September Salisbury has only received a total of 2.26 inches of rain. Of that, none has been recorded since Halloween and only .26 inches has been recorded since October 14.
Temperatures this week will top out near 70 degrees today and tomorrow. Highs may reach the mid 70’s on Thursday again remaining dry. The next chance of measurable rain looks to be on Friday when a cold front will pass through the area and likely bring showers. That should lead to a cooler weekend when high temps return to the upper 50’s.
