A cold Halloween brought to a halt the very warm weather that we got used to experiencing in late October. Today, the very first day of November, may bring even more of a shock as many areas on Delmarva may see the growing season come to a crashing halt with the season’s first freeze.
It's going to be a cold start to November! Some of us are in the 30s this morning, but expect the coldest air we've seen since last Winter to come Wednesday night. A widespread freeze is forecast with lows dipping into the 20s, except along the coast. #vawx #ncwx #mdwx pic.twitter.com/7snu86uBYn

Having begun today with temperatures in the upper 30’s the Salisbury area will again struggle to top 50 degrees under mostly sunny skies. The overnight temperatures tonight will settle near the freezing mark.
Thursday should bring sunny skies with temps in the low to mid 50’s before heading back down towards the 32 degree mark again tomorrow night.
A modest warming trend is expected to begin on Friday as temperatures slowly climb to a more seasonable reading just above 60 degrees.
Looking ahead at November 2023 as a whole climate models are predicting overall above average temperatures on the Lower Shore.
