Hello, October. America has avoided a government shutdown at least until mid November on this, the 99th birthday of America’s oldest living president, Jimmy Carter.

We welcome the return of sunshine to start October. Temperatures today should reach the upper 70’s to begin the month and remain mild for its first week.

Temperatures this week may even reach 80 degrees on a couple of occasions as we enjoy some dry weather. No rain is expected this week.
