Winds from Tropical Storm Ophelia are just under hurricane strength this morning as it continues to move up the Atlantic seaboard. Its path has slowed somewhat but the Tropical Storm Warning that we are under indicates that this first day of fall will be a miserable one.

Rain, wind, and flooding are the major concerns. The worst for Delmarva is likely to be late morning today through the afternoon.

It is advisable that citizens check in on a regular basis with their local news sources to keep track of the storm’s progress.

Temperatures today will reach the low 70’s today and tomorrow as well. The rain should continue at varying degrees of intensity through Sunday morning.
