We flip the calendar to a new month today only to find spectacular weather to begin the month of September. Salisbury will be bathed in sunshine with temperatures reaching right around 80 degrees.
The simply splendid weather will continue tomorrow with similar conditions and temps near 82 degrees. This is really the type of weather that most of us would hand pick to begin the first weekend of September.
Sunshine should continue on Sunday with temperatures creeping up into the upper 80’s and by the time Labor Day itself arrives the Delmarva Peninsula will be experiencing conditions in the low 90’s.
The extended outlook for the week ahead when many schools open is for sultry conditions where temps may top out in the low to mid 90’s for several days.
Next week, @NOAA’s @NWSCPC sees above-normal temps and below-normal/normal precip chances for much of the Lower 48. For many areas, normal Sept precip means not much precip.
So, large parts of the US look hot and dry next week. Expect #drought to worsen.https://t.co/s84bYrlJof pic.twitter.com/V5EgskWMkk
