Today will be cloudy, considerably cooler with temps reaching about 75 degrees, and rather breezy. The breeziness is a result of the battle between high pressure to our north and the low pressure remnants of Hurricane Idalia that linger to our south.
The pressure gradient existing between the high and low pressure systems will help force what is left of Idalia out to sea to our south.
Tomorrow will bring a return of sunshine to the area with temperatures reaching the upper 70’s. It still may be a bit breezy.
We are being set up for fabulous weather over the Labor Day weekend. There should be plenty of sunshine as temps begin in the low 80’s and slowly climb into the low 90’s by Monday.
