Heat indices will again surpass 105 degrees today as high temps reach the mid to upper 90’s before scattered thunderstorms are likely to develop late in the day.
The passing of the front that brings with it the scattered thunderstorms will cause temperatures to drop overnight. Sunday should then see high temps that are 10 to 15 degrees cooler than today with a chance of morning showers and thunderstorms.
Sunday should end with partly cloudy skies and less humidity as Delmarva gets ready to head back to work on Monday. High temps on Monday are expected to reach just 83 degrees or so with another chance of isolated thunderstorms.
