It is finally our time to deal with the oppressive heat that much of the US has endured for weeks. High temperatures are expected to reach near 95 degrees today and remain there for at least three days. What’s worse? Overnight low temperatures may not dip below 80 degrees.

Anyone lucky enough to experience a stray shower or thunderstorm may experience some temporary relief. Don’t count on it, though.
