Salisbury MD

Another unsettled day

Yesterday’s humid conditions inched our afternoon temperatures up to 88 degrees. We are still looking for 90 and are not likely to see it before the end of June. In fact, once we get through today there will be a refreshing drop in humidity that brings with it lower temperatures as well for a couple of days.

Salisbury was fortunate to escape the ferocity of last evening’s thunderstorms as the area only received .07 of an inch of rain. Many areas south and east of the area were recipients of much more rain.

Today: Partly cloudy early. Scattered thunderstorms developing in the afternoon. Gusty winds and small hail are possible. High 86F. Winds SSW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 50%.

Thunderstorms during the evening, then partly cloudy overnight. Gusty winds and small hail are possible. Low 66F. Winds W at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 60%.

Tomorrow: Mostly sunny skies. High 83F. Winds WNW at 10 to 15 mph.

Tomorrow Night: Mostly clear. Low 64F. Winds NW at 5 to 10 mph.
