Yesterday’s humid conditions inched our afternoon temperatures up to 88 degrees. We are still looking for 90 and are not likely to see it before the end of June. In fact, once we get through today there will be a refreshing drop in humidity that brings with it lower temperatures as well for a couple of days.
Salisbury was fortunate to escape the ferocity of last evening’s thunderstorms as the area only received .07 of an inch of rain. Many areas south and east of the area were recipients of much more rain.
