Today should be partly cloudy and possibly the warmest day of the year as temps rise into the upper 80’s with increasingly humid conditions. It is possible that some areas could experience their first 90 degree temperature readings in 2923.
Thunderstorms may develop late in the day and last overnight, leading to a potentially stormy Monday evening and early Tuesday. Tuesday temps will top out in the low 80’s. There are indications that storms on Delmarva could be quite strong with gusty winds and hail tonight. Storms could again pop up tomorrow afternoon.
A high risk of severe weather is forecast for an area of the Northeast including the Washington D.C. and Philadelphia areas on Monday. Hail, damaging winds and even isolated tornadoes are possible. https://t.co/QtL3dB7Dlp pic.twitter.com/bZqciLIXCX
