We are only four days into June and, despite the upper 80’s temperature readings we experienced on Friday, find ourselves averaging more than 3 degrees below normal in Salisbury.
While many on Delmarva relished the warm end of the work week they may be surprised to find that the high temperature on June 2 was not the high recorded in Salisbury this year. In fact, the warmest Salisbury day in 2023 actually occurred on April 13 when we reached 88 degrees.
So, the cooler than normal weather continues again today with pleasant high temperatures reaching the low to mid 70’s under partly cloudy skies.
The new work week begins tomorrow with mostly sunny skies and continued dry weather with temps reaching the upper 70’s. There literally is no apparent chance of rain for at least a week.
