Quite a weather battle is setting up between a southern storm and drier air to the north this weekend that finds the Delmarva Peninsula sitting smack dab between them. Areas to the south will experience copious amounts of rain over the Memorial Day weekend as isolated shower activity is possible over the Salisbury area.
Today will certainly be dry, albeit a bit on the cloudy side, as temperatures reach about 70 degrees or slightly above.
Partly to mostly cloudy skies are expected to prevail through about Wednesday of next week with high temps holding steady in the low to mid 70’s. The probability of heavy rainfall for the Salisbury area is slim at this time, but residents should be prepared for the possibility of on/off isolated showers over the Memorial Day weekend.
Currently it appears as though the best chance of showers in Salisbury should be on Memorial Day itself.
