Temperatures thus far for the month of May are averaging close to 2 degrees below normal. Today, however, will bring mostly sunny skies with highs reaching near 80 degrees.
With the official start of the Atlantic Hurricane season beginning on the first of June the National Hurricane Center in Miami is already monitoring the potential early development of a tropical storm off the Southeast coast. Currently, it is believed that the system has just a 10% chance of development.
Tuesday will feature partly cloudy skies with temperatures near 72 degrees. It looks as though the rest of the week will likely include temperatures in the 70’s with little or no chances of rain.
Wouldn’t you know it, though, that the expected next period of wet weather may well occur over the Memorial Day weekend?
