Today promises to bring some relief with the passing of a front this afternoon that is expected to kick off a few hours of showers and scattered thunderstorms. If they arrive as forecast then Salisbury can begin looking for the shower activity by 4 PM or so. The precip could continue until close to midnight with the possibility of some severe storms. There is the potential for areas of heavy rainfall. High temps today should reach about 79 degrees.
Sunday will be markedly colder with temps reaching about 67 degrees under partly sunny skies.
