Rain will arrive this afternoon, together with windy conditions, and continue throughout the remainder of the day and evening. Rainfall amounts may approach one inch in places as the daytime high warms to 55 degrees.
There is a slight risk for severe weather in parts of northeast NC and a marginal risk in southeast VA for tomorrow. A broken line of showers/thunderstorms associated with a cold front will bring the potential for damaging winds. An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. pic.twitter.com/oo6EgSGtUK
