Yesterday’s cooler than normal weather came as a shock to some, but warmer air will slowly filter back into the Salisbury area. Today should reach about 72 degrees under partly cloudy skies. The morning low reached 45 degrees.
Sunday should warm into the upper 70’s to low 80’s with a chance of a late day thunderstorm. At the same time Fiona is slamming into Canada.
The biggest concern for local folks will be what happens near the end of the coming week. Currently indications are strong that a mighty hurricane, Ian, could be brewing in the Gulf of Mexico. While far away now some forecasters would not be surprised if it affected Delmarva at some point in time.
