Partly cloudy skies with a temperature near 50 degrees on Friday will be in sharp contrast to the cloudy skies and 30 degree temperatures that we’ll see on Saturday.
Sunday will begin with temperatures in the low 20’s. Those temps will slowly rise throughout the day before the long anticipated storm system brings precipitation to our area by the late afternoon.
Confidence is increasing that a significant winter storm will create considerable impacts this weekend into early next week. There is more clarity in the weather models this morning that the Salisbury area can look forward to a heavy rain. That is due to the track of the low pressure system over land. The low would have to track farther to the east, over the ocean, in order to bring snowfall to our area.
