The coldest air of the season has headed south overnight into today from the Arctic with morning low temperatures near 25 degrees.
Patches of black ice will present driving hazards this morning. The thermometer should push pass the freezing mark by noon and top out in the upper 30’s, under sunshine, this afternoon.
More showers are likely to return on Tuesday with a high temperature just short of 50 degrees. It is possible that the precip could begin with some freezing rain early tomorrow morning.
The rest of the week will offer multiple opportunities for more rain and snow with perhaps some ice as well. Stay tuned.
