A warm pair of mittens, whether fashionable or not, may come in handy if you venture out today. Make sure that you bundle up as Delmarva will be dealing with its first bout of cold January weather.
Before or after you venture out I suggest that you take 3 or 4 minutes out of your life to learn something about the legacy of baseball great Hank Aaron, who passed away yesterday at the age of 86. I am not articulate enough to convey his importance to our nation and its history, but the play by play call of Vin Scully nearly says it all. It is quite the history lesson.
Temperatures will not escape the 30’s today under sunny skies. The gusty winds will make it feel so much colder.
Good morning! It will be much cooler today with highs mainly in the upper 30s-mid 40s. Breezy conditions are once again expected, especially near the coast. The wind dies down tonight but temperatures will fall into the upper teens-mid 20s by Sunday morning. Have a great weekend! pic.twitter.com/OKCQ6Zp9sf

The winds will subside on Sunday but we’ll be lucky to touch 40 degrees.
The upcoming week promises two encounters with storms; the first in the form of rain and the second one too uncertain to call at this time.
