On the eve of a new presidential administration the United States must acknowledge that the death toll from the coronavirus pandemic in our nation has reached a staggering 400,000 and still counting. At the current rate of growth the US can expect a half million deaths by this time next month.
The president-elect has pledged to ramp up vaccinations.We must hold him to it.
The forecast calls for fair skies today with a high temperature near 50 degrees. Inauguration day will be cooler with a high in the low 40’s under partly sunny skies. Don’t hold me to it.
