Delmarva will flirt with 60 degrees today under increasingly cloudy skies. A strong low pressure system will bring stormy weather to the East Coast beginning late today and lasting through Saturday morning.
Showers may develop late in the day and increase in intensity throughout the evening and into Saturday. The exact track of the storm is not clearly defined, but I am leaning towards the heaviest precipitation occurring to our west and north. With that in mind the Salisbury area may pick up as much as 2 inches of rain by daybreak Other areas in the northeast will be receiving snow..
There may be some gradual clearing of skies on Saturday afternoon with temperatures near 50 degrees. Sunshine and cooler conditions are expected on Sunday..
Good morning! While it will be dry in most areas through the day, expect moderate to occasionally heavy rain tonight into Saturday morning. 1-2" of rain is expected. In addition, NW winds will gust to 30-45 mph (highest near the coast) Saturday AM. Have a great day! pic.twitter.com/mvAQhKbbha
