It was 30 years ago this week that “Home Alone” became a holiday classic film as Americans filled movie theaters all across the nation to share a good laugh.
Now, many Americans will find themselves home alone at Thanksgiving. They will not be laughing together and couldn’t go to a movie theater if they tried. That is not something that most of us ever dreamed could happen.
Any dim sunshine early this morning sun will quickly fade behind thickening cloud coverage this afternoon. A few light showers are possible across the Piedmont towards sunset. pic.twitter.com/RM8TqqvcY3

Whether or not you are home alone clouds will prevail today with a high temperature near 60 degrees. Mid to upper 60’s conditions are expected for Thanksgiving day with a chance of showers and even a thunderstorm. Most of the shower activity will be in the morning, but some partial clearing is likely in the afternoon. This all leads to a beautiful Friday and Saturday.
