Long time “Jeopardy” host Alex Trebeck lost his courageous battle with pancreatic cancer and passed away yesterday at the age of 80. The TV icon taught America for 40 years that being smart is cool.

Interestingly enough, President-elect Joe Biden’s initial actions upon being declared the winner of our presidential election was to begin establishing his coronavirus task force so that it is ready to go to work in January.
Biden also declared that the United States would again recognize the work of the World Health Organization, and rejoin the Paris Climate Accord. All three actions indicate that the next administration will rely on science and other experts in their field to advise him on matters of great concern to Americans. Alex would approve. That’s cool.
I am not an expert on meteorology; just a hobbyist. I do, however, consult several weather sources comprised of experts in the fields of climate and weather each day before I write my blurb on this blog.
