The last two days have brought us low 90’s summer heat, but today brings us the remains of Laura with wind and rain. Potentially strong thunderstorms and even a risk of tornadoes exist.
A strong line of thunderstorms, with frequent thunder and lightning, ripped through the area overnight. My station has already received 2.11 inches of rain since around midnight. More will occur later today.
Morning! We're still watching the threat for severe storms later today. The timeline for severe storms begins by Noon, then continues through early evening. All modes of severe weather are possible. Bottom line, be weather aware today & have a way to receive any warnings issued. pic.twitter.com/AgyYvkPpC0
