People on Delmarva are still cleaning up from the damage caused by Tropical Storm Isaias. I, like many others, sat in a long line at the Wicomico County Landfill waiting my turn to get rid of a pickup load of downed branches
I found this beautiful dead butterfly among my debris. It makes you realize that we humans are not the only ones that must contend with a brutal storm.
We’ll see mid 80’s temperatures today with a continued chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms. Conditions should improve tomorrow. The Salisbury area picked up over an inch of rain overnight while flash flood warnings have been issued in the Crisfield area for as much as 4 inches of rain in a couple of hours early this morning.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms today. Locally heavy rain may result in flooding especially in urban and poor drainage areas. High temps this afternoon in the mid to upper 80's. pic.twitter.com/LL0SDVs3GU
