Most of us will be delighted to see today’s high temperature a good 10 degrees cooler than the past few days. High temps are expected to reach the low to mid 80’s. The cooler temps do come with a caveat, however, as thunderstorms are expected, especially from the morning hours into the afternoon. They may produce some locally heavy rainfall. In fact, much of the Salisbury area has received over an inch of rain just this morning.
Temperatures are expected to remain comfortable on Saturday as well with a chance of scattered thunderstorms. The weather for the days that follow into next week is highly dependent on the track of Hurricane Isaias that lies to our south.
BREAKING: #Isaias is now a Category 1 hurricane with winds of 80 mph, according to new data from the Hurricane Hunters. A new advisory will be issued soon. pic.twitter.com/YlYg1Ztsv3
