Is anybody bothered by some of the events taking place in America? I”m asking for a friend.
Authoritarian governments, not democratic republics, send unmarked authorities after protesters. These Trump/Barr tactics designed to eliminate any accountability are absolutely unacceptable in America, and must end. pic.twitter.com/PE4YfZ9Vqd

I hope, desperately hope, that this story is not what it appears to be. That there is some mistake. We need to know more, fast. But there is a chill up my spine with the recognition that this is plausible in our current America. https://t.co/tOJtkMUJSc

Federal officers deployed tear gas and fired less-lethal rounds into a crowd of protesters in Oregon, hours after the the head of the Department of Homeland Security visited Portland and called the demonstrators “violent anarchists.” https://t.co/U1HRyAndX3

Usually when we see people in unmarked cars forcibly grab someone off the street we call it kidnapping — what is happening now in Portland should concern everyone in the US.
These actions are flat-out unconstitutional and will not go unanswered. https://t.co/1zS6u05GOK

It appears as though America is living in a pressure cooker. Where have we seen this before? Again, I’m asking for a friend.
The weather in the mid-Atlantic will also feel like a pressure cooker, particularly over the next 3 days or so. The Salisbury area can expect high temperatures in the upper 90’s both today and tomorrow. Yesterday Salisbury reached a high temperature of 96 degrees at 3:32 PM. Today will rival that as well after some early morning fog burns off.
The heat is on this weekend!
