Today will bring a mostly cloudy and cool start to to the work week with a high temperature in the mid 70’s. Tomorrow will be cloudy and cooler as a large batch of moisture lurks to our south.
A cut-off area of low pressure will bring periods of steady, if not heavy rain, to areas of Virginia and North Carolina. It will only need to nudge a bit to the north to ruin our week. It is expected that we should get some shower activity by midweek, but we really can’t be certain. We’ll just need to keep an eye on it.

… and that means wet times ahead for South and North Carolina especially through midweek. This is the NAM model just through early Wednesday morning pic.twitter.com/TJU6tCTYUi
