Showers and thunderstorms are expected throughout the bulk of the day as we break our 17 day drought and receive some relief from the recent hot spell. Temperatures that have reached the 90’s on several occasions over the past few days will not do so today. We are expecting temps to reach the low to mid 80’s as many of us will pick up close to an inch of much needed rain.
Cold front marching across the east right now stalls out for the southeast coast. Rain totals 1-5" through Wednesday… Already a surplus in many spots. More on impact on @wunderground 5-9p ET. See ya then! pic.twitter.com/qseiBiORIn
